This is the financial exchange with the very Armstrong in chunks of you're exclusive look at business and financial news affecting your day your city your world. Stay informed and up today about economic and market trends plus get breaking business news every day. And now the financial exchange with the Barry Armstrong and chuck Exxon. As expected the Federal Reserve raised interest rates yesterday and they suggested that they're gonna do it again. In all likelihood that next rate hike will occur in December president trump does not happy about the interest rate hikes will talk about that and then finally. For those of you who own shares of GE U have my condolences to stocks down. Not today but it's down a lot over the last several years. And now it appears as if they may have to stop paying dividends tiger but it's Berrian truck with you here. It is a Thursday morning in Federal Reserve yesterday believes about 215 saying you're raising interest rates you had anticipated this for months. Yet not not really anything unexpected here when you take a look out what they did. I didn't think it was a little bit instructive when you saw what happened afterwards when Jerome Powell actually started speaking and talking a little bit about what was going to be the likely path forward. And in particular you're you're starting to get a sense and it's it's you you still have to read between the lines on this a little bit. The Fed has some concerns about America's ability to pay its bills if rates go much higher than. And this is of the I didn't even were Abbott park and about this for a year in the reason wise if you look at a thirty year trend of where interest rates have gone. It's been a stating you you could draw a point to point line and we've never broken outline. We finally did about a month ago now and so what that means is that. For the first time in thirty years. As we grow our debt it's becoming more expensive to finance. And the other problem associated with that is we don't have. A whole lot of foreign buyers buying up US debt anymore much means the burden falls to US consumers and investors in the problem is historically we have a really wanted to buy much. What do you think via possibility news. Starting to issue fifty and hundred year. Gary Cohn had suggested that to zero resident of the twenty any apps have borne. No appetite for is that like are we any if you look at the long term well the thirty year pan. 307 don't know anybody that thirty years so infrequently I know tailored about 37 so. Thirty year right now is at 319. Now that are being spread all your your you know I can get any appetite for for longer term bonds that. We really don't issue much in the way of thirty year debt anyways nobody buys we we we really most the issues that we have at this point. You go and actually take a look at the treasury auctions we knew. The vast majority is between two and ten years so he had a rate hike yesterday in the ten year yield actually came down that means you're getting closer close yet compression well you warrant on much of youths were you know we go back to the beginning of this year. The overnight rate was at about one point three in the tenure was 2.4 six that's where we sat at the beginning of this year so the spread was about one point 2%. As of yesterday. Overnight it was a two point 1110 years at three point 06 or you're down below 1% there so many of us have learned shock. Did that declining spread is a bad thing for the economy and bad omen. Going forward in other words in the past that has been the indicator of a recession. Yet historically it hasn't and the reason why is fairly simple. Is that. When you have a longer term rate that is higher than shorter term rates what companies do is they borrow short term and then lend out long term and they earn the difference on that spread think about how banks you know work with mortgages and things like that. If all of a sudden it becomes more expensive. To borrow short term and you don't have that ability to finance short term and then lend long term. Yeah you can't balance things out that you simply can't do it in in a society where the growth that we have is largely fueled by debt whether corporate personal whatever it is up. All that lending kind of slows up has banks say. Why would I do this and I'm gonna earn more by just sit on this and earned you know the coupon rate as opposed to lending and outs of the lending slows down a path. So we've got this fed rate hike and is it fair to anticipate another hike in December at six oath if we take a look and the CME publishes. What they call their fed watch too which pretty much knew it takes their fed futures and you know turns into probabilities here we've got about an 81% chance of a hike in December at the moment. That is up from 67%. Just a month ago so it's looking more and more likely what kinds of things could. Slow this down a potentially prevent the Fed from hiking if you have a couple months of bad but you know jobs reports. Back to do you can see there's nothing that suggests that's coming so how's it. The gallery that housing report today not really don't think that has any impact is speaking out against short term rates we saw hike yesterday but tenure came down and that's what matters for housing. So you know the only thing that I think is really a question here. Is if things on the trade front too much worse than expected and UC all kinds of problems there and slow and as the kind of thing that could have an impact. Other than that I think you pretty much all systems go for so. Why is the president not happy about the Fed's decision. Well this is guy yeah BJ Powell as his he fired Jimmy Allen brought NJ pal now is not happy with the decisions yes a pretty much hit his argument is looked. When the Fed raises interest rates it can potentially create drag on the economy because it's harder to borrow and so forth. But it's really not mean you look at the mortgage rates haven't gone up they've actually come down arguably. In savings rates people are. A lot of people who have money and bank accounts CDs use some kind of money market yes it in the Capital One or something like him yet about its spread around 2%. That's pretty good I mean you look at what you're getting for rates trucks the coughing. But it's the year when you look at. Savings rates. That's a whole channel of interest income that didn't exist before this would kick people can expect chuck is they're gonna go to the bank. To buy CDs short term CDs one and two year CDs illustrate should be on. Yes and in what it does then is it gives people more money to spend that they wouldn't have to exactly. That's always forgotten and it's always remarkable to me that. You know people sit while mortgage rates are lower and and people go out by house we'll hack house price appreciation. It's going up at 5% a year so weak if anything we we would like to see slower. House home price appreciation that's part of the reason. The numbers for housing your bad is people can't afford to buy it. The questionnaire and in where I think it it really factors in. Is how much to people haven't savings vs how much they have out in debt. And if people have more savings and if we have a society that is built on savings and growth in savings like DC over in China. It's a case were higher rates can be helpful if you're more based on debt may yet you might earn more but if you're spending more on the debt it's outstanding just because you have more of it. That's work kinda balances out media hurdle to see. Look it's not something to forms of debt that are very high if you add them together talking about credit card debt and student loan debt. You're talking about a number that is approaching three trillion dollars. Those both of those debts and then if you factored in car lone tech he could be talking 456 trillion dollars. That's affected by these rising interest rates it is exactly and so those are the kinds of things were you know if someone has some 101000 dollars in credit card debt outstanding. Happening savings probably you know so they're getting hit in their getting hurt by this it's more money out of their pocket as opposed to coming back Ian. Speaking of companies getting hurt. GE should consider suspending its common stock dividend for the next eighteen months is according to. Goldman Sachs analyst Joseph Richey he wrote this report. GE if you're stockholder in General Electric they have paid a dividend for 119. Consecutive years. They just can't afford to pay it anymore. No in this would save them over that year and a half period about six billion dollars that they could use to pay down debt. To me. That's a real problem for them I think this is something they need to do I tend to agree here. With Goldman Sachs you know the eighties it looks as if they know there's been no announcement on the. Part of the company that they're going to do it but he gets to point chuck where the CEO has no choice these CEOs who Danny Flannery. And what happens is the bond market dictates that they cut their dividend because what'll happen is GE will go to the bond market folks. And they'll say hey we need to borrow two billion dollars yet bridge alone or we need to borrow three billion dollars for the project were working on. In the bond market will say to them no we won't do it unless you stop paying your dividend on your common stock. Yeah and it might even be something where in order to do so you might have covenants built into the bonds that say look. For the first year and a half this bond is out you're not allowed to issue a dividend so it's gonna be built right into that borrowing contract so what do you think they'd think he's gonna slashed their dividend and eliminated altogether now. I think they slashed its its gonna be something nominal to be like when Bank of America had that one cent dividend just say they still have one. I I think it's just because I think. So we don't Ali is that that's more wind is not it is but I think if it's just to be able to say hey we've never not had a dividend for 120 year person to get rebuild that streak that extra notes as it's likely candidates pixel that sticks out in twenty years let's assume NG still here and 120 yourself maybe they can maybe they can't. Immigrants should be required or could be required to show credit scores if they want to stay in the United States are gonna talk about that in the next segment but it is our poll question today. You missing envelope line mostly waiting he might not get all the rent until the tenth or fifteenth of the month furthermore if your landlord on vacation in your rinsing your notebooks up to what he does is it really ditched bill. It makes the ranked electronic payments it allows for roomy cheering for multiple roommates and apartments that's great if you're renting at the college student absolutely. Information. Soy sauce story in MarketWatch. Which is a Wall Street Journal publication. Last night. Read the first couple paragraphs to track a Department of Homeland Security proposal. As a new suggestion to prove financial status under US Department of Homeland Security proposal. Intended to determine who is considered admissible to the country. Immigrants would have to provide evidence of their financial status. This includes applications for public benefits in the United States proof of private health insurance to cover certain medical conditions. And their credit histories and credit scores. This. In many ways seems pretty logical to eat before you allow somebody in and a lot of other countries do's and a similar procedure except. Reliance on credit scores you know I think requiring someone to be able to show. Hey you know here's my you know my medical history here's you know how I stack up and so forth. I don't have a problem with that. The credit scores. We just went through the whole Equifax thing to begin this. These the people that you want to trusts to verify whether or not someone who is you know would genomic from a financial perspective we've gone through all the issues that people had with getting rid of you know gym memberships in cable up things that. They kick it off their credit scores so. I have a real problem with. Using credit scores as a means to determine someone's financial well being quickest A we know they're not really accurate and then and beat the only reason they exist is to incentivize people to take out more credit not to give an accurate picture of how good they are financially. They tell you might have a son who lives in New Zealand now and he is moving to Australia. In November and so he had to apply for work permit and visa. So he had to personally had to have a job which he obtained. But Danny had to show chest X ray to prove that he didn't have tuberculosis. He had to go have blood tests several physical they're not several physical exams would physical exam. Pretty strenuous. Process to it to get in and the cost to get into Australia. And say is like seven or 800 dollars but the timing was all done. In addition to that they required that he prove that he had several thousands of dollars. Liquid. That he did used to for support himself so yes I know I don't like that he had to prove that he that he had. Not I would see the high net worth Padilla distracting was like five or 6000 dollars he would have. In American dollars in order to enter the country he got the he he got the the visa. And he's allowed to work there. For twelve month period time but a lot of other countries are going to great lengths to make sure that they're not letting indigent people. In to their country Australia being. First and foremost I'll admit bring that up because I am experiencing it firsthand this on. The the big thing is I look at my own failed when we wouldn't be here that was the case you know my great grandfather came over in January of 190 wait from Italy. He was sixteen years old time. Didn't have any skills in eleven nickel on it didn't have anything PP he became he came over with his with his brother. I'm sorry no with his father who would already been over there for ballots maybe two or three years I think. But he came over and he knew or had to be a Barbara that's what he did he he's not someone even go to college but he sent all seven of his kids to college. Cleaver is a good point because right now to the we have a shortage of workers. Rate is going to learn low skilled jobs and low skilled jobs so yeah what better time to open up the the borders with the lot of people I suspect editing the eye and on the text line everybody saying yes we should be checking credit scores. What do I don't have any credit well that that's an issue in LA so if you haven't borrowed money you shouldn't come to the US a that's kind of a tough putt for me. Right now on the whole 53 point 8% of our listeners are saying they should have good credit to state in the country. Financial exchange showed dot com is the place you would go if you care to participate in our poll question. Chick filet. Makes more per restaurant than McDonald's Starbucks and subway combine your big chick filet fans how could Jesse self. Well I tonight. I think it's two things number one early opens six days a week number one I think the food is that good you do so I think the food is a step above what you see from a mcdonalds or subway there was other types doctor year you're fast food two not just totally you I've never had checkpoint off there aren't any around here news or near me at least. You know I think you finally get one down your way in a little bit. Where don't know on camping out on a putt there is one of the K don't. Other might be can't I'm traveled indicate that the other thing that I will tell you is when you go into a check play and every single one that I have gone to I've seen this. It is the most helpful staff I've ever seen at a fast food restaurant. A better bunkers and top to bottom it is I don't know if they're better workers out of their train better I don't know what it is. They're just better now they are. The the the I bring it up because there's a report done. And it showed. The amount of money that there's not that many chick police stores to your point to record and nationally I think usually couple thousand throughout the country at a one Dom Capers and Hyannis by the yeah yeah I think it took over for Wendy's and getting to four million dollars per restaurant that's amazing eight McDonald's does 2670000. Starbucks does 945000. Per store and subway has 469 new subway with smaller but me neither it's not place where you go for supper. And now I I think subway for a lot of election it's it's it's kind of a once in emergency it's okay like. I need to nothing I need to get some food there's a subway unity here in the airport that's nothing what's your price point like chuck is okay and it's yeah it's generally so McDonald yeah I think if if you're getting you know chicken sandwich and some Fries Specter probably looking somewhere in the seven to seven fan upset. You know McDonald's might be 6650 so it's it's 10% maybe 50% higher than mcdonalds but here's what's and you shall be in just do the numbers here four million vs two point six million for McDonald's yeah and McDonald's is open seven days a week and in many instances they are open 24/7. Tripoli is not open on Sunday. This is why I always. Get upset at all the Black Friday crap that goes on between the retailers they'll need openness and maybe to open these hours and it is if you have better products and in a better experience. You know he'd be open every single hour of every day chick filet says it allows them to recruit better and police 'cause the year employees know that. On Sunday. I can spend time with my family or go to church or whatever it whatever is important they also think though it's part of it is psychological. Because because the fact you can't get chick filet on Sunday. Yep that craving build up in your much more likely to go there on Monday ending to Michael back on Thursday it has got to get it on Thursday or boy you know I gotta go Saturday night as I can be open to it it creates scarcity. And and there's something to be said for that name in each week can get anything that you want 24 hours a day. Scarcity might actually be the most valuable resource it's a cheap franchise to buy two it's cheaper to buy chick fully franchise. Then it is to buy McDonald's franchise the differences you have to kick up more money. On a Tripoli that you do and yet it's cheap up front but they get you on the back and with the payments that you make back to the company but you know what. Eat your your running. A pretty good franchise. Be big there's a waiting list to get Tripoli for interest in the chicken is too much sleep. Its heels and it that it deliver. Me. Then the big money now I'm sorry they actually get psyched catering truck a different angles and had a couple places I I drove I don't happen the Adriatic catering truck. They when we come back where it talked about questions you should ask before you take your pension. Say get a retirement notice and you work for I don't know IBM or Verizon. And they say yes hey we're evident early out package what kind of questions should you be asking we'll talk about that and more when we return to the financial team. Time now for mostly watch a look at the market's performance so far today but I don't Berrian jug right here on the financial exchange radio network. Markets up chuck I've got the S&P up thirteen points the Dow is up 88 points. Crude oil is trading at 71 bucks a barrel Samuel and 89. And I've got the ten year treasury so again ten year treasuries at 306 because sought a three of nine earlier this week. Yeah I think part of this is that tenure coming down a little bit and if you look at where this rally is actually happening in it is tech heavy the new communication services. Sector which was just made in the last couple days here include companies like your face books and Google's of the world. Up one point 17% to nine utilities also up today so it suggests tale little bit of gain their due to the ten year treasury. Pulled back a little bit but really it its tech its leading this rally forward which has been the case for the majority this year. Well in January the the latest data Dow up seventy points which is somewhat unusual after rate hike usually after rate hike in traditionally were stocks of so lawful. Let's talk about questions that should be asked before. You take your pension. Now many of you had worked for big corporations. And maybe worked for IBM or you work for Verizon. And yet in notice and it's. Special letter that's sent to you. And it's because your theory and do you years of service and they say do you G. Employee we appreciate your service and in recognition of that. We're going to offer you special option for retirement you can if you retire and you have a certain time limit usually set on chucked up. You know like sixty days to make your decision. We'll give you some perks. Today it's help that help you. Make the decision to retire prob is a lot of times it happened when your 5059. Years old packages that I've seen would include things like a bridge to Medicare. Yeah might also have you know one or two years of pays something along those all had these generous to the on scene a couple of those you know in particular from tech companies I've seen knows Mor than your GE's or year GMs of the world. But it's you know it's it's tough when you're trying to figure this out because. You know. When when you work deciding what to do with your pension. You'll get one crack. Like you've had that call before haven't you know somebody coliseum and goes hey Woodley pat so. Yeah let's let's provide counsel to those who are getting those messages or think they might get that message in the next week or two or next month or two. Yeah I mean that I think that the big thing number one is figuring out. Whether you want to take any kind of lump sum on a pension or whether you're looking just for a guaranteed monthly payment cap. In general what a lot of people prefer is that while some if they can take if they don't need to guaranteed income and they prefer the lump sum because hey they have access to it it all points then maybe legacy right. It's something or they can choose how to invested they can choose what to do with that they can choose when to use it. Whereas if you're taking them monthly payment every month hey if you have big expenses one year but you're only getting you know it fixed 2000 dollar a month pension coming out. You can't say hey let me accelerate this there's no had to do that unity. Sniffing deer weighed that against news. If you take that lump sum you're responsible for investing that on your own use you have to then go out and buy the stocks in the bonds or whatever you gonna do. With that lump sum whereas if you take the monthly income stream that to guarantee. Now the problem this and guarantee might be by company that's unquestionable footing like General Electric. Well and I think looking at the overall health of the company and in particular of the pension plan is a key thing to to note there. And then also you know taking into account the other pieces that you may or may not have associated with your retirement plan what are you gonna be getting from Social Security. Have you had a 401K for the last twenty years that you've contributed to was well. And by taking a look at those different pieces you can say hey I have enough that I'm willing to take on the risk of managing this myself. Or gee things are looking a little tight is much I want to take this long so it's gonna be safer for me just take the guaranteed monthly pension because that I don't have to worry about. Now if you're married you have to consider spousal options. You do and in this is one of those challenges because a lot of times you'll see these survivor benefits attached to some of these pension options where. It might be that you gets or that your spouse gets. 5075. For a 100% of your pension if you pass away while you're retired but it also reduces the amount. Of that pension on a monthly basis to do so to give you an example of this let's say that you had a pension that was 2000 a month and if you wanted an option that was going to include a 100% guarantee. For your spouse in the event that you passed first that pension might go down to fifteen or 16100 bucks a month so might be 125%. Reduction. But it guarantees that pension last while you're gone for as long as your spouse is aligned. So those are things that you have to juggle that gets in the family health history are you where your spouse older than each other and you know if reveal a situation where you're retiring at 65 but your spouse is ten years older. You probably don't need a strong spousal benefit on that has odds are your spouse is gonna go before you do yeah you never know if it's the opposite situation where you're ten years older than your spouse is you're looking at really the opposite situation probably need a stronger spousal benefit either in that pension. Or in some cases you might say him in good health amigo did you get a short term life insurance policy for ten to fifteen years that covers in case we have the worst case scenario. So if you work for private corporation let's use Verizon is an example. They're probably gonna give you lump sum option but if you work for the city of Austin. Or the city of Worcester worry Europe firefighter in Hartford he and you're probably not get the launch some options. You're not but I wonder if in the next decade you start seeing that offered as a way to shore up some of these pension liabilities going forward saying hey. Look we'll take a bigger expense now to get the liability off the books later he might be right me in that might be the first step in terms of getting rid of these public pensions and replacing them with four when case I think he could be folks it's pretty hard to find a bank that as checking and savings accounts that can provide a decent return but if you market for one. Chuck I saw an article in the Wall Street Journal about aluminum maker's profit suffering. As the prices for key ingredient have rot risen it's accompany its us. I guess it's a loom enough is the ingredient coming out of Brazil. Places. Yeah and a woman is really aluminum oxide. It's made up of two items of aluminum and three of oxygen and pretty much it's this white. Whitish powder in Dickens of getting refined in two. Aluminum eventually gains of getting made into it is you're able to strip the aluminum atoms out of that molecule that. The big issue that you have here. Is there is a company called Roussel. Which makes about 6% of the world's Illumina. And fortunately they've been sanctioned they really can't do a whole lot of business. This now the I take a 6% you. You know because you look at something like oil if you disrupt one or 2% of oil production it's gonna have a massive impact on the price of oil. I would think you'd knock out 6% of Lumina. It's gonna have a big impact on the price of aluminum law and on top of that you've also had some production curbs at the biggest refinery in Brazil and as strike by workers at Al co at a couple plants and so that's kind of push these prices up as well so. Altogether. The the price surge that we've seen it. 60%. Over the last year while. 60% up to 625. Dollars per metric tonne now. Imagine a big shift imagine if you can't get it all it regardless of the price right then you're you're relieved to write any enough in itself. You know electric cars and batteries. Have been in a topic of conversation. For several years now. What are the reasons that cars should darn expensive is the batteries are expensive. Battery technology peeking get batteries to cost less and be later. They're going to be tremendous in terms of their used to be used in power grids you'll see more solar installation you'll see more wind installation. The big problem right now you'll get a project like Cape Wind choked. Yet your your bacon lots of power when it's windy what do you do when it's not would be well this company at a California. Looks as if they've developed a new form of battery technology. That is light and inexpensive relative to lithium ion batteries yen this is front hey don't explode as. Accompany outing California. That is called non energy year net energy in a note Jack today announces. But is it is financed by a California billionaire named Patrick soon Xiang who who previously made a whole bunch of money and Biotech from what I gather. And pretty much what this does instead of using existing lithium ion technology. It is these zinc air battery now what exactly does that mean. I have no idea my guess is that combined zinc and air in some way to make but it's really light it's light it's light and the other thing is they found that they're able to even at this point get the production cost down significantly to put it in perspective. Now they're saying that the technology for storage cost less than. 100 dollars per kilowatt hour. Whereas the clean energy center at the University of South Florida and estimates that lithium ion technology. Storage cost somewhere in the ballpark of 300 to 400 now and it's heavy. This is only 25 to 30% Kostner. Of compare blue lithium ion systems now my guess is that they still or anywhere near ramp up to any kind of scale on this they can't do any kind of large scale installs right now. But this is the kind of technology that if you see it become more mainstream if they configure the production out at scale. All of a sudden renewables become. Competitive not quite over night but pretty close. Well I don't know pretty close right now the cost to lithium ion is three to 400 dollars per kilowatt hour yup zinc is a hundred. Well and in the you look at the cost of these car struck the he'd go out by an electric car the reason initial expenses and our batteries. Well part of it so I don't know keep in mind the cost they're talking about her for utility scale I don't know the cost or compare herbal for something. Small that needs to fit in a car now. I don't know if you saw there was a new wind turbine announced. Brian Jeter so you know one and I don't think it was a GE one I thought it was a vest DOS well. And I'll pull up where was I can't remember but it's ten megawatts which. Is just a massive wind turbine in the big thing that was vest some and the big thing that this does is the main costs associated with wind turbines especially offshore ones are maintenance cost having to go from turbines turbine that repair things. In the install cost putting the pylons in the ground and make sure they're all over under water. Bigger turbines reduce both of those costs and they make it more cost competitive and so these kinds of turbines here. Could be huge ten megawatt model by the way even if it's working at full capacity can power 6000 homes. Still need batteries you do so you combine that with this all of a sudden you start say. Presenting actionable ideas for thoughtful investors. At a bank's revenue on today. Oh thanks for letting me join me you know by its not about water heater by. I look at my name's bitter trade related and one day on the hot water and that there you know like yeah I. You know. We got some how we moved forward. What's it in and I wanted to try to get a read on what's actually going on in the economy here let's talk first. About you know what we got today and and really yesterday also a couple key data points with GDP. And also durable goods orders. Yeah right GDP I love it four point 2% I mean I remember. Back in January you know I think I think we're gonna get a four point 2% GDP. Craig on the way I hit a 4% GDP print on you know pat. Cut people said you're out of your mind and you know it looks like you know we make it recorder. In a row. A consecutive four handled GDP print it's a great. You know we haven't a big impact on inflation you'd you run typically. When you run GDP you know 45% are you run in the risk of three to 5% inflation. You know except that we haven't seen it yet and yet we you know we are pregnant yet you know the you know wage inflation after the FedEx earnings report in the you know the yell at national that it should appoint a wicked good you know we want people to make more money could have been make more expendable. But you don't have. An inflation problem until you get wage growth of around three point seven or three point eight. And it takes a long time to get there from the Kurt what the art equipment on. Adam one thing that I try to make sense of also is how to feel about this market in general let my typical view is look if people are nervous about something. The generally you can actually relax because you can climb that wall of worry and and get over it in kind of moving forward. But I also look at the same time we get paid record consumer confidence number the other day. It historically every time we've seen one of those usually eighteen months later things don't look so hot so I find this market a little challenging to try to read. Heading your twelve to eighteen months out do you have any thoughts on where we go you know heading into mid to evenly when he nineteen. You know but the other thing that people have been talking about and I know that. You know folks listening who don't necessarily trade you know bargain. Like lunatic. Like me. Doubt your New York. Is this notion of the inverted yield great year term rates are gonna go higher than long term because. The guys get a shut things down near term rating rate yet there's not enough longer term growth you know aren't. That's been one of those concerns that the bar guide book but I actually went back over the past 25 year and I looked at every kind. The yield curve started you know kind of you know bear a little bit deeper right now up about twenty I think. And it turns out. You can ask market rally anywhere from twenty to 35 per cent. Over the next eighteen to thirty month. So yeah I hear you you know eighteen to twenty former canal we could get a darker thing in a market complete rally. In the interim so you know we get. It is it as much as we wanna look out of the future in try to get ahead of the ball you don't want it to pour Saturday. At a more have about thirty seconds left it. 2018 probably when we look back on in terms of what carried markets forward if it's tech leadership there's no doubt about that. Tech seems to be wavering a little bit here and there. Any particular areas that can continued to lead this market forward over the next six to twelve months you still bulls on industrials are you look at somewhere else now. No it automatically like industrial and deputy dependent thing is that it you don't recently added. Here and Honeywell to might bolt let portfolio it got readers been about 1520% lower I'm happy to say. Pac money that looking protect the is going to bat beckoning me the bad technique yet at 13% year to date you on health care in general. You know. The EPA debate is quite out incomes are up people are living longer population growth is that they're so. You know healthcare the likely to democratically. Hi this is chuck and Mike from the financial exchange were here to talk to you. About the questions that you need to ask you potential financial advisor Mike there's a lot of different types of advisors out there. And one of the big questions that I think people really need to pay attention to oval for your client but they must in fact be in the client's best interests can give me an example of how a fiduciary approach may differ from someone who's just acting as a broker for client. Yeah absolutely so when you take the case of Sam broker may have a slew of different investment options that they can use and let's say you're comparing two different mutual funds and they might both achieve the same objective. But one of them might pay the advisor 5% commission and one of them might pay the 3% commission. Under those circumstances the broker's fee no free to choose that 5% product because it pays him more. Whereas the fiduciary is going to be in a place where they must choose that product that is truly in the message their client and if they don't. Then they stand to face legal repercussions. Stock prices are rallying in spite of the fact that you have an interest rate hike yesterday and quite likely we're gonna have another. Interest rate hike. At the end of December. We've got news as it relates to the NBA your basketball fan an interesting story just released. And then we're gonna be talking about foreigners buying American real estate tight everybody it's Berrian truck with you here it is a Thursday morning. And son of a gun the NBA pretty innovative in terms of their new approach to allowing their fan base to watch games. Yet this this is a new thing that was announced just about fifteen minutes ago so there's a program called NBA league pass is that like NFL league paths very similar so it allows NHL it allows if you buy the whole season of games he spent 200 dollars and you can watch any game for any team if you want and if you wanna buy disperse specific team is that it is absurd in Europe and so the NBA league pass it they're the DirecTV NFL league pass has been around for probably ten years a longer than that as a relic when he now yeah. And be a similar that it bit is and is NBA league pass just a DirecTV protector is that something you can buy noticeable it's a it's a streaming products you can watch these games on Bleacher Report live NBA dot com the NBA app you can watch him pretty much on any device that you have end. It's 200 bucks a year. To buy anything you want it is the NFL but priced about the same token Dina much the NFL winners Sunday ticket for the lead for the entire year yeah still I mean I'm box I think it's more than that. And then they also had the red zone to. I guess a red zones and Ottawa Sunday ticket is. Let's see 300 dollars. Let's. Which outs that's that's that's crazy which is not site so what's the NBA doing that caught your attention so what they're doing they just announced this fifteen minutes ago. Is they said looked even if you don't have A league pass subscription then we're gonna allow you to buy as little as one quarter of one game if you wanna watch out of market games so let's say that the lakers so let's say that your knicks fan that lives Ian. Charlotte and OK and lets it makes all of a sudden become good they're playing against the Golden State Warriors you might not have that game available to into C. Well there's a lot and it didn't fifty years with the next other guard forty your they had that 11 good raw seventy they're total arch. Those wells read in that was about it you know so. Let's let's just say this all happens and you say gee you know what I really wanna catch the last quarter of that knicks game. Two dollars and that's what they said so you don't have to go and buy 8200 dollar package the die hard NBA fan it's still gonna do that. But someone like me who I really like the NBA and a huge Celtics fan. I might still at some point say. There's a really good warriors rockets game that's on its out of market that I can't get his it's not on ESPN it's not a AT&T but I really wanna see that one. I'm paid two dollars to watch the last quarter that. You know or might be something where it's eight you know. Five years ago you know Kobe's going for eighty points OK let me just watched the last quarter to see what he can get sued and things like that and that's revenue that the MB wouldn't have got another San. That's pretty genius is that in. It's its market is again most NBA games the first hour and a half. Awful waste of time. Is a good hour. That they'll do in the fourth quarter authority borders all you like to watch us he should be of the by the last two minutes it does is that it most NBA who had 80% of India and subtle the last two minutes with all the files the last two minutes lashes half an hour humorous. So here here's my take if you wanna actually make the NBA. Truly revolutionary in better attract. Instead of having won 48 minute game OK you get fourteen is what arena for the night debt and you ever round Robin tournament over the course tonight twelve minute games. While Argentina. There's everyone's gonna be entertaining. Here you go way back into the fifties and sixties it used to be. Multiple games. Every every every one of those is going to be entertaining Syria every team play each other once in in the two top ones play and whoever comes out on top of that gets a win everywhere else gets a loss for the day and interest. A lot I can put into to that Adam silver. And when graduate of rye high school where my you know Akron to help get him video coming up. Foreign real estate buyers are getting told to go whole Lotta countries are saying no. Two foreign roasting bars New Zealand and Australia being to come to mind so much saying no but their taxes heck yeah and this is similar it's. That we saw in Vancouver in Canada a couple years ago where they said look there's so much money coming in from Asia that it's pricing out Arnold residence. But you're seeing this even in Asia Hong Kong as having all kinds of problems with trying to keep its real estate relatively affordable. In 2012. They had all kinds of duties imposed on overseas buyers there's a stamp duty that was picked up 15%. And that even includes all second home buyers now even if your from Hong Kong now. And they still can't figure out what how to how to get prices down. Real estate in Hong Kong has increased to 160%. From. In the last decade. C Melbourne Australia's novel state and I looked at all these. It's cities and countries Melbourne Australia has been. I'm named the most livable large city in the world except yours in a row is that right now what else is on the island my son has moved there. Is it is they really. You. He's it's his next stop on his world tour do you think the united states of does that is that something you do at a federal level or resents something Bennett certainly called the city of Boston. Saying well if you're. It is your Asian or Middle Eastern you have to. Paying 20% tax I I wouldn't be surprised individual cities do. I think it would be really tough putt for a state or even anything close to federal legislation. And and to be honest I think it doesn't address the root cause the problem which is that you citizens are being paid enough to buy the property themselves. That's that's the problem it's not that foreign buyers have too much money it's that war and paid enough people weren't we're not paying people enough they could be true. There's even more evidence on the other cities on that was by no would Vienna Austria. Osaka Japan. Calgary Sydney Australia Vancouver Toronto Tokyo Copenhagen and Natalie Austrian. Only cities now niceties. There's even more evidence that the main ingredient in Monsanto's popular weed killer. Is hurting honey bees I use this week I've I am a certain if you like it should stop. Yeah I don't I don't use any weed killers edged the packed by hand and it's a pain but among. Yet this is the other main ingredient in now roundup block out glad faceted life boss later I'd I don't know how that stuff works boy it kills weeds but apparently kills the whole lot of other things also and in particular we've had problems with bees over the last decade. Now what's called colony collapse disorder. That has just infected a number of bee colonies and you just see them not be able to survive for multiple years. And the problem with this is that. We need b.s in order to be able to survive ourselves because they cross pollinate fruits and vegetables name make them so that they can actually have you know the new fruits and vegetables the following year and so forth. You don't have bees you don't have anything that you can grow. She has ever have real bee honey you know they'll never had a late probably no really I've heard that too expensive. We need to mortgage your house to buy it's really that much the sweet tooth. Yeah he put this on some warm toast and that good news it's a butter. The I've thought about be keeping a couple times I haven't gotten my wife on board yet but I've been looking into it for the last year to IQ and the sponsors that you would absolutely. Just like I just let me be myself I thought the pictures that I get stuck a million times video player rights to take pilots of the crop. But nobody I've been look I've been looking to be keeping for the last couple years there's total resource out there on line is like huge be keeping community. Mean can you do this via show your B keep pursuit. Yet they are broke is because he's b.s you raise the reason I raise Merrill wanna see who makes Mormon we can cross pollinate. We we get out of here great you're strangling us. Alexion Pharmaceuticals this is the company used to be based in New Haven, Connecticut. Yeah out was they moved their their headquarters to Boston seaport district just about two months ago back in July. But they also just signed the deal to buy a local Biotech for 400 million dollars upfront payments also this is not a deal for three to five years they're saying hey we think this company's got enough in the pipeline the world will make this deal. This is the financial exchange radio network. The economy is ripping. But the Federal Reserve raised rates yesterday the president is not happy about it we're joined by Steve Moore from The Heritage Foundation to talk about rising interest rates I don't state. Are more like good morning. Steve Witt president. Suggesting he's not happy with rising interest rates do you feel the same way. You know I'll let I think the impact the record straight I and that is overrated I think that. A debt you know economy's gonna do what it's gonna deal and that doesn't really have much control over you know are frustrated that the country but. Look I believe rhetoric and help out or is that it salt function of the Federer or should be. Well rationed under. Also that we don't have pricing quite do you are strong and stable. I think what that'll help would say and act and recruit about where it currently out on stable however. And we have no very little place and it's still you know of course I'll. Which right in the sweet now so what is the rationale for. Raising interest rates as it is bad intentionally. Slowed our economy. That they believe that brought lead to inflation because of course we one last. Last yours that. A lack of oh lead to patch. I look I think it's a close call. But I don't think we need to have the right the fact continue to raise rates over or golfer and as we just isn't any sign and he. By surprise especially if you look body had been very stable while collapsed. Five or six year. We think we get for hikes next year it's pretty much baked in that we get a hike in December he think he get two or three next year what are your thoughts. You know probably you know that's a bad that's what that German Powell's side yesterday that oil futures of these they're mailed up. Or purse up on the interest rates which make lots of may be as the the inflationary is that the that you really want I. A better interest rates that's actually. You know other than the British right so. But much Oprah does her job expansion I think choppers is a little on him interest in the sense that. He can't hold this economy back it is so strong right now and say you know the the irony of this is that these. Short term interest rates hikes. May actually lead to. Lower long term interest rates because like you all know that that the others agree of the main determinant of long term interest rates. Is the expectation that your wife did peace. Rate hike. Reassure the markets that an accurate iron play and an impact and make it a situation where these short term interest rate hike we no longer term. A lot turned twenty and thirty year treasury bill reductions rates up we'll see how that on all but. But the economy is Kirk and right now it is hard to believe I don't know if you saw a latest report that. To get four point 4% of according to the girls are back up third quarter we got what what we well then let's border south that those are. How awful ul all the outburst and a topic there's much expected deal. They tried cute that they left all this economy back. One you mentioned the Atlanta fed they're usually pretty conservative with their estimates I've heard some people saying you hand five in front of this excellent. Wouldn't be dropping in you know. I remember when Larry no I used talked to a battle out about the economy back you know the year ago. And we alum you know they have not public well I'll back and the topic of the product. If you. If you were these these policies at a rate regulation and called American energy. You know I made your call as you get the economy up to 34% drop that number used to. It matters not 4% up. Odd percent aren't and I don't think surgery countless about well I don't forget I. I'll take anything under 4 that I am a number. Not forget an eight years on girl probably never got that percent up you know albeit we can get your tool or or pro amnesty. In the last thing that impacts on other terms of wages and. You hear anything on NAFTA at all and I'm get no little nervous about Canada because they can kind of messed this whole darn hard and deal just with Mexico. Yeah you know we got a good trait you Obama with Mexico lottery the about a wherever big epic yet. About I think it hurt us back you know and so right you worry a little bit. That we're not get that spell out that a child brought up yesterday or not make up a lot of our rest or counsel. Others that that is a little bit darker are your hand in Canada has. I am not all back what operative in terms of getting ill but immediately. We have to get a deal done. Out of because it's so important that we have a you know a free trader orbiter called now that he auditor right but we need something that this is not combines. You know out of the United States next I'll retreat arranged early in Europe and Asia. What is our trade status I hear you know 11 report will say we have a surplus with Canada another one would say we've got about an eight billion dollar deficit it you know the numbers say. A exactly what he knew where we are almost one way or the other. We upgrade got. A situation back outlets outlets are. Canada that is pretty stable you know we thought about Mayo a lot touched the merchandise straight that. We have a small. Merchandise street estimate that but not high and the country we have the big merchandise straight out it would force China and out that's. The really big and watch a lot of you're totally yet. A deal done with China that's it for the United States and and if trapped in a bat and you know you're gonna do you think economy and our workers are always pleased in the very different networks. If China where they they agreed about more purse not your normal property. You could see you this yet battle property out. You know the thing that bothers me about China Stevens even if they say they're gonna stop stealing our intellectual proper that's true I don't believe them. I agree that your you know I am I don't tell them what he's healed Reagan line I'm negotiating. Trust but verify and I noticed him you have to be real metrics you know here that they need and what are not appreciable amount or China's cheating and stealing for along time. And yet there is trump what say you know out of it based amateurs. Out of our trade world China any barker well or select. China try to chart of the street were a year ago we are about. They strike injury Steve thanks very much for your time appreciate. Our Steve Moore from The Heritage Foundation right the president would be Smart. Even if he doesn't get a great deal that a candidate just to do something silly can say hey about it and NAFTA part two if you wanna call it right you get that done. Yeah it's something done with your European Union and then you revisit the TPP right getting CPP deal done. And in the next year to. And and you just accept the fact ran into each and he's coming back you know needs and we killed. It's cooked it's too bad that that was that was the that was the that was the way to be China. That was the deal Tucker I gave you a story on done. Chinese property theft and technology that did you reach out to that which some analyst opinions that list of things. If there's a story isn't what from the journal from did you read it today via. Scary it's it's spooky stuff via in LA and he Dayton you know you think the president might be. Unrealistic in terms of these claims as it relates to China. You read this story in today's Wall Street Journal as to what China actually does with our technology if a company wants it like blowing right Boeing wants to do business in China. Take a look at their stealing there are so we are our property. In and and that's where I think people get discouraged by. Coming up word be talking about war young veterans committing suicide now the data on this is counter intuitive when you think about. Veterans. And who would be. Hi this is chuck and Mike from the financial exchange we're here to talk about some of the questions that you need to make sure you Astor financial advisor if you are considering hiring one and Mike what are the big questions that I think everyone needs to pay attention to is to actually making the investment decisions when it comes to what goes declines portfolio what what types of different situations and be seen as ours who makes the investment choices in portfolios decline. I can vary significantly I mean everything from TO a small independent advisors action running all those portfolios and investments themselves to completely hiring that entire piece in the business out to a third party why it's important that you understand which one it's happening is because you want to make sure a the person that's making the investment decisions has the qualifications needed to do so. Understands the markets maybe has a chartered financial analyst on staff and B if they're not doing it themselves are there any additional costs to using a third party for the service lets talk about that second piece of particular how much additional cost to you end up running into if they're outsourcing that management oh well I mean I I've seen numbers as high as another poll. Percentage point if not more during the case where say you're paying your advisor 1%. And they using a third party money manager you might be layering on an additional 1% cost mainly doubling the cost of investing for you. Folks the question of who makes the investment decisions in a client portfolios just one of the questions you need to ask a potential advisor and Armstrong advisory group has put together a list of the top ten questions that you need to ask a potential advisor all you have to do to get it is call 800. 3934001. Let's look at some of the statistics regarding veterans who serve our country they're twenty million veterans in throughout the country. And their suicide rate has escalated. To 45 suicide deaths. Her 100000 in the population in 2016 from forty. In the year 20:15. PM according to the report chock. Veterans accounted for 14% of suicides nationwide. Even though they only make up 8% of the American population. The suicide rate for female veterans eased one point eight hire one point eight times higher than civilian counterparts. It just they just report is full of information that I find. Somewhat counter intuitive like I my initial impression would have been. These are veterans suffering from PT EST but it's actually. The veterans who did not serve. In active combat. They have the higher suicide rate. Yet you saw a rise I don't know if it was the higher rate but I think it was a a higher rise in the suicide rate. For veterans that were in the National Guard military reserve who hadn't been called up. In the thinking there was that they might have fewer veterans benefits and access to VA care and active duty members so they don't have the resources. Anyway you slice it productive and help we're not taking care events the way we need to we're we're now but that's been a topic conversation for twenty years. At least two times to stop talking and start doing. Bed, Bath & Beyond. Falls 15% says my headline nice stock ticker those telling me Bed, Bath & Beyond shares are down 24 person yet they were down 15% in premarket trading. The problem is that then the markets opened up and it wasn't much better this was a stock that was trading it's usually wrote 18 am sorry nineteen dollars a share before the open and it is now fourteen dollars and 25 cents a share. The big thing that you saw here sales were flat in that note sales growth. Same store sales declined by point 6% rather than growing point 3% as expected. It it's simply is a company. That is. Trying to adapt to e-commerce and finding that it's a struggle for them because. I've never really been in a bed bath beyond Morton once or twice now. Everyone who shops there on a regular basis says the only thing that gets in and sort coupons. And they're they're struggling to get people in the store. Without that same coupon any news in terms of how they're doing an on line sales minute look they're they're making the a in effort there may. Day you know they're certainly trying to do something on line they made a profit I mean at let's none I I don't want to mislead anybody I mean there's still profitable company. The problem news. These retailers tend to be judged based on same story. Well it's again you wanna retailer that stagnant and has same store sales slipping or do you want a retail or growth to the world group any day of the week not many of them. Now there's there's only a handful you know there's only I mean the the one that you always come actors TJX. And you walk and by the way have you seen their new commercials now their new commercials get. They like the if you know. I don't understand. TJX is I don't shop marshals on shop in I don't know if they're not figure to me but I got it when I saw these new commercials because. It's it's clearly it's a woman who is you know they've got her in the Himalayas and they've got her in Africa and in the gutter in Europe and it shows are just kind of looking around for different things. And that's what the experience is at TJ act it's he walked in you never know what you're gonna get from anywhere in the world. What is so. I've sold my guess is evidently just based on new commercial your wife will be there. She probably still is right now. Stake in the British broadcaster sky to Comcast on Wednesday in a deal worth fifteen billion dollars. Ending Rupert Murdoch's years long ambition to take full ownership of the satellite service that he helped found three decades ago. Yeah and in and really this was Disney excusing this deal on Fox's behalf rather fox on Disney since fox is selling a whole bunch of other assets to Disney. And Bob Iger could've made this really complicated if you wanted to have he had refused to sell the stake and try to get their shareholders to not you know approve this deal. He made it easy. Which to me suggests hey he's happy with Comcast paying a premium for these are getting it back himself. I I think he might perspective on this is that Comcast is overpaying. Oh they are for this and I think Rupert and tiger are eating. Their lunch and I think you mean you look at Comcast stock has not been a great stock don't know if this it this is one where you know. Disney doesn't give up on acquisitions this easily hidden. I think it's hey you wanna pay that much Ford great pay us for it you know I think there's some kind of a side deal where. Now Disney gets the rest of Hulu. Is that Comcast still owns 30% of who and supposedly a I I tried Hulu and I didn't care for canceled it after a month or two yet but. It's supposedly that is Katz media now in terms of streaming service. It seemed dizzy on the whole thing and they don't have to. Is that that's their product to compete with Netflix looks up eventually they're gonna lose all the other content on. Like why would NBC why would NBC in and night why would they have their content on the you know why would. CBS have their content on there if they don't own part of big maybe just the what it does is it creates another marketplace for that content rate is right now to stream they're really the only streaming service worth a darn. It is Netflix. And Amazon's got some good stuff on it they do but it. Are they buying heavily in the open marketplace he looks to me from what I see an end the thing I think they're going towards more. Pro less programming but higher quality yup by greed really be like in when Netflix started if you're called they were by ion. All the stuff. From other vendors. Amazon doesn't seem to be under that they've got some decent stuff on there actually yeah and keep my when Netflix first launched there streaming platform people hated the book is the second watch anything like it was their crap on there it was like. You know six ways to break brownie you're sitting there you go back about watching that world was you know. A ripple and they sir as viewers day off yet then they started buying things from other companies right they would go to a BC and by. Protestant and shows that were being manufactured by the company owed Amazon absolutely has that stuff now. When Netflix actually for started streaming like he's subjected this election sold him that it was all I actually hold them those liked is my streaming device defective is all deceased crap like no that's all we got. And the sort of chronicle there's like eight bucks a month to death and dollars is a Mormon paying for it turn up at daughter. And and keep in mind the other thing that you do get on nine Amazon is they do have Thursday night football games. You know on Amazon not tonight the action and I know that's not a big one for you but that's something that you know they have that was a private you get them. To big one for cord cutter oh yeah that's huge now. All right well then you'll see him you just engaged in store to be following coming up FaceBook is. Very being active duty we tell our young people in the service that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and that there's help available. Moreover many marriages and families are being torn apart from due to PT SD anxiety. And depression among our soldiers coming home with deep scars. We cannot see. And needs to needs to be mentioned. It. I mean again we we we don't do a good enough job at looking out for our vets when they come back at what I find if you talk to Betsy had to. Most of their support not through veterans services through import more supported the VFW and then there is. At the interest being able to have people who shared those experiences that they can talk to and and also you talked to a lot of veterans and it's you know they they miss that feeling of being on one team where you can trust everyone around you never ones pulled in the same direction and you come back end. It's not the Casey when you go to work for a company news they go gee here's our goal here is were trying to go. And get things that are all over the places notes it's just it's not. The same. You know almost go inside the huddle and no no sir you you're never gonna be able to go inside the hall you never never could Unita Cameron's side well. When realities have a three area reporters yeah sign on three and so what what you need in order to be able to pull this off Rican moved to different places you need a massive amount of cameras. Bring in a massive amount of information that then turns that into week 3-D image. That you can actually go and walk in between its leaders so much processing power book is think about. The problems that we have with the band with that being chewed up by streaming service is now. And those are shown you one flat image. Now imagine that you need to have forty cameras around NFL stadium then broadcasting you. 360 degree images in hi ray as and then taking all that information. In turning it into an experience for one per. We're now size oh it hard to do is five G and help with that. It can help with transferring the information and I'll process it's the processing power is just. It's it's they are but not at the cost that's affordable for people here thought the price point was pretty tracked the problem is. The price point is only as good as the content that you have in the content requires a good view wanted to watch VR and golf. There's so much that goes into the back end of it I think you might be a decade away from having it be competitive price points and they gave it might take we might have driver was car sooner than VR golf. You think that that's where I'm mad at this point you'll. You'll have it for Reno video games you'll be able to do that no problem you'll have all kinds of video games that do this because we have some of it now rate eagle and a helicopter ride in bald is it's it's different interface new video game it's you're not taking something that's being broadcast in two Indian trying to make three do you put yourself in its a video game it's already built in 3-D to begin. To peoples that have them that I know don't use them. This is not content that's that is the problem and they too feel funny to. We feel like you are there I had no I had motion sickness when African off now Pia was that my name. How much money does the average American household have any savings account. So this one where we have to be really specific on the terms actually can if you look at the average average savings account balance is 161000 dollars 161420. Dollars pretty good. Bucks. The median. Savings account is just 4830. Which means half the people we use the term median half the people surveyed had below that have had a ball. And what that means that that 161000 dollar number is skewed by all of the people who have a hundred or 120 your 150 your million dollars in savings account. So but even the median at 4800 CNET. Except that. Yeah after remember that half the people are below him in is a pretty steep drop off the typically means there's a pretty thin left tail because I thought dues like 40% of the population could put their hands on 400 bucks they can't so this is gonna have missed. If you went to you know the fortieth percentile. It might be 500 goal. In that there's thirty to 40% of people that don't have anything so I shouldn't feel good. It depends. Who you are depends on which side of the there are you are you know. It's I don't think anyone can feel good about the overall situation but in terms of hey you know Leo it is a Jeep in the average Americans only got 5000 it's not good for the average American but if you've got more than that. You're saying OK am doing a better than the average person you know the if is completely off topic but you talk about 40% of the population not having. 400 bucks. And now payday loans. Are for the most part gone away at age ninety in I think is maybe what seven Mary states treatments to do pay deals are there they're making a comeback now. They're making a comeback now in and a little bit egg in a better fashion lately he has some I've looked into a lot of the specifics on the new ones. I'm I would hope that it's better than the previous generation that was out there because the previous ones were. Predatory by just about any means you can now the guys in jail the guys and ran the previous ones are in jail. But there there's been a lot of push back from payday lenders trying to you know get back into certain states and so forth was a lot of the. Push back on politicians struck leaky if you talk to people that live. In poverty. Working class people low income people that live in the cities. They're saying hey my car broke down and there's not a darn thing I can do. He and I lost my job because I couldn't get a payday well they he says there is a portion of the population that wants these they want access to. Now in deference to your perspective. You do want them act terms that are not users. What you do and in and I continue to come back to the fact that look the reason that people turned payday loans is not because they want to act as they have to their debt if in if they get to that point it means that we've kind of already failed. To be able to get them to where they need to be to get them educated in a way it's allows them to get a good jobs that they don't need to take a payday loan so. Payday loans or view that there are crappy band aid on a problem that's that's the way I look at it and it's it's just something that I understand that there is indeed Ford in some situations but I think we need to focus on removing that need as opposed to make it easier to make it. This point well made. The Dow is up a 138 points or 26523. NASDAQ also rallied to a greater degree. NASDAQ is up 68 points and 8059. Is just not too long and 88000. Crude oil is up 43 cents a barrel at 72 dollars a barrel. And price of gold down twelve dollars an ounce at eleven eaten six. Very chuck thank you for joining us today it will be back tomorrow.
