This is the financial exchange with the very Armstrong and chokes. We're exclusive look at business and financial news affecting your day you're simply to a world. Stay informed and today about economic and market trends plus breaking business news every day. And now the financial exchange with the Barry Armstrong and shocks. It's good. Put this out there I think that Netflix is grossly overrated. But my wife and children would beg to differ hi everybody it's very in check with you here. On. Tuesday when were reporting about Netflix and not only to my wife and children think Netflix is terrific I think is about a 104 million people around the world the think. Which is pretty darn good yet Netflix ending the quarter with a 104 million paid streaming subscribers globally. Adding five point three million subscribers for the quarter outpacing a expect an expectation. Of four point four million net additions so would you say five point three missing five point three how many of those were domestic inside the US 800 it yet that the domestic growth is significantly slower this was orderly world does it is Asia as South America and Europe where where that all the above well that for an A half million. All the above its they are grown pretty much anywhere except the US. Dramatically. OK so the the the domestic growth is is tepid just because. Again you you look at how many subscribers they have domestically at this point they're pretty much maxed out just because people share count writings like that. There's not a ton of additional growth that they're gonna pick up in the US would they say the US numbers and wonder that includes Canada probably know it does not general would be separate cat very small yeah that Canada's it's America's tapped so it's generally you know sort of in that fashion so now but what 50% of their subscribers are domestic 50% outside the US is pretty much it's it's going to a new growth it in a few years it's going to be. Thank you five years if they can within two years even even before then within two years will be 60% international or even when I think more and I mean I'm the a couple of layers yeah his I would think the big growth opportunities for them. Would be. He did really the rest of the globe the you think about like South America. After the continent of Africa. Anywhere you have an Internet connection. Netflix is going to be pretty attractive you know the thing that's interesting though is a lot of these countries censor Netflix in terms of what their loved show. On in their. They they do have five different content agreements depending on the market obviously. You know you're not gonna get the same contents in not Thailand that you are in the US and secondly give the same content Brazil that you do in the United Kingdom so. It differs but one thing I was interested in was a signal to the average cost in some of these countries okay. Just I was curious and so. You wanna know what the the cheapest country for Netflix big the the basic package up and up though when the most people of the cheapest wonders for the basic packages and can I get to guess you get to guests. And this is based on the kind of where for an exchange rates have been so far this year Brazil Brazil. Brazil is the fifth cheapest coming in about six dollars and thirty cents a month. The cheapest in Mexico five dollars and three cents so why don't we just get a Mexican account. And then watch it from because you can tell us a pass because you can't watch the content when you're at the country and you know mice and watched it when news in Korea automatic out of it you can't watch. A lot of that you might not be able to watch. Japan is actually second believe it or not at 577. Columbia and Canada coming in next Canas at 599. Candidates at five and 99. For the cheapest I don't know what I know there mid tier one is the most expensive country do you know what the most expensive country for Netflix is. I was gonna say United States but now nobody Switzerland. Yet currency eleven dollars and ninety cents for the basic package you know number two is. Another European country up Germany. In Germany's plan to middle of the pack actually. Denmark. Denmark Denmark coming in 1140 once he got to pay up to get that content Denmark and and then Norway's 930 to kind of rounding out the top three as far as most expense. They're becoming an insurmountable competitor. Well it in media I always hesitates in anyone's insurmountable okay because if you went back ten years ago you wouldn't say no one's ever gonna dethrone Comcast no one's ever gonna dethrone CBS let this thing that I considers that they have so much proprietary content so the other guys. Like I think about it he said hey Disney's gonna be struggling ten years from now and little old lefty back in 2007. Right because Everett who's addicted DSP and they if you if he's at ESPN was UC 20% subscriber declines. Ever orders that you created a thing that. I the reason I think Netflix is somewhat insurmountable is their library continues to built so as they build their content library. You know new subscribers. Have access to that entire library Mike counterpoint and we're also clever ruse to. Lake lake Hulu he had been the one of the one that guy I wanna try and I even tried who I'd like to drop Netflix but I don't dare. In and try to. It's eight in the look I I love Netflix is a company because they they have innovated to what is the content that's driving this like I. Last night we like that it was the content I know but I'd like for meat. Right I think a lot of what they have this crime but you don't like movies and TV I don't I don't like doc I commander Greece is to be like a vegetarian saying man the meat here is terrible. Let's throw the. I think that's kind of what you do like well well I hate TVs in Netflix is I'd like don't I like I don't like documentary what did you the last movie you saw Lincoln via. That was like 2007. Good. I think I did it by my forms of I have a more refined. Taste in entertainment news. Yeah it's documentaries. Like document I put alerts up. If I'm so you can learn something fun to watch that great when on the Enron scandal that is that good yeah I've got under the watch that over the weekend actually is. These charges complete eye candy and soda wanna say but it just all I mean if you're history buff supplement Archos is pretty good side it's like. Is it now what are. But if it's not based in history were and and that an accurate portrayal. I just can't Bebop the waste of time. Where you're like so stupid they get a lot of the stuff you watch is just so absurd. The save yourself while I'm never gonna get that forty minutes given occasionally just need like a dumb forty minutes noon. He had not done this between the years I don't need anymore. That in there. Anyway there there are spending the next year they spent eight billion dollars on content that's why I think. This is becoming a down meals eat it they're running downhill now. You know the the you look at the sizes company I remember within the last year or two we would talk about. Who should bide Netflix. Lots anyway at this darn companies now with eighty billion dollars in another. Year they're gonna surpass. You know and and would put we talked about what he does he should buy these guys. Yeah I edit should've we all should have bought Netflix. I have some valuation questions on that flight you took just because. You know I look at what they're doing right now and last year they did about you know nine billion dollars in revenue this year they're going to be somewhere in the ballpark of probably around eleven maybe twelve you know so in that ballpark. But they're trading eight times revenue today. WW turn profitable in a hurry with this company. Stop producing content and a UTE drive your content you because once you've built that library in this is why I like the company. You build that library up to I don't know. You know. It and another three years and then you go from spending eight billion down to seven billion. Then you go from seven to six and 65 and five to four you cut your content costs way back because you've got this massive library. You've accumulated over the years. That's when this company becomes profit. I wonder because a subscribers. You know is much as I detest the content. You know what I haven't canceled I wouldn't dare try to be in and Tucker will never canceled is Julie Tucker will pay Netflix until he dies. It's true probably the question that I have so Netflix do well because your mother Kelly if you don't keep in I calculate. Today I have to keep it so here's my question to Netflix right now is about 53 million subscribers in the US Casey figure. Overall it's about 17. Of the US population while not really because you and he's just in terms of like. Internal pain in terms of current openings so that they have about 17 of the US population. So I look out there and say OK in the world still got somewhere in the ballpark for a four billion people that actually have Internet access on a regular basis okay. CF four billion people that that's your potential market that you can tap in June. If you get the same kind of adoption yeah okay. You Pete gets somewhere around 560 million subscribers that's in theory what your peak is if you look at the world see so I average person's paying eight bucks a month. Twelve months out of the year to Barrett 53 billion dollar revenue runway and run rate in series okay. If you're doing that it may be continuing to grow little may be the peak value somewhere around a 110120. Billion mean I don't know there's much more than that so. Maybe like if you're looking kind of peak value on Netflix the Europe and you're talking ten years from now. I'm talking along time and and that's my questions here at ninety billion right now how much more growth is there. Like a year also basing it on keeping their these the same in the content costs no I'm I'm basing this on revenue on the outpacing a profit. Does that I don't know what they're proud revenue they can raise their rates they just raise their rates of adequate. You know but how much can. They got they didn't know if that is the million dollar question you know I and they charged twenty bucks a month giant charts there no we don't know you didn't trust me date. Fifteen is that break point. I've said that for fifteen all then Greg Biffle craft I will cancel if it goes to fifteen Tucker just go to Starbucks once lesson month the new deal. You know bears right fit canister of that the people will pay people on our economies people that look at what it took to get people to cut the cord. Right knee unity to save in the savings there were enormous thousand bucks a year now anyway. You know just did it it's instinct to see when we come back. We've talked about media we're gonna come back we're gonna talk about. Online dating. In the money being made in the online dating. Sector and that's next from the financial exchange radio network. Bush Kirsten needed just three of us in the studio right now have been out of the dating scene for quite some time. But now it turns out. That there is a an app. Called trump singles dot com. So you can only be dating people from this application fury trump supporter. And this was started by a fellow named David gos he's the co-founder of trump singles dot com so if you're try if you're single or near trump supporter is good trump single stock cup. He started this I guess because. A lot of the other sites are saying I was the the some of the people on the sites are saying I will not date anybody so that likes Donald Europe. Yeah it's the you've seen a lot of these niche dating sites pop up in the last several years you've got anything from. Christian mingle dot com Jude JD to black people meat farmers all cars only farmers only that farmers only which is one of my favorites. And not that I BO go on it or anything but I just love the fact that Blake. Only farmer is it was a what qualifies you to be on farmers only dot com what how do I live on a farm I've protocol but do you farm. What does that mean well meaning are actively armor are you actively telling a ground and tell everybody I used to. You know down the cut the grass physically is it like a primary residency after a form two out of the last five years to go on farmers around dot com the idea I get a death that I'm married you know these things that I have questions about with even you know I look like Christian mingle like can you have converted like what have you previously were relate to you and convert like these are things that I wonder about. And you know what I ju. Regulate what were were much tougher about conversions. You know we're very very tough to get the -- to get out of both yeah it's what what's your in your in the winter out as not so much effect. Well anyway I I've I bring this up because online date is becoming much more common write it like in my generation. How did you guys meet your your your talk you Bentley in third graders. My career in the bassinet together how are. No I met when we're learning multiplication via a high school as yeah as high school and and Turkey you beat your spouse on line know we met in person. Five years ago you'll nationally in a bar yes and some people who have that have been rude drunk and some bumps on my friends admit there's a significant others through online dating amounts becoming very come out as a matter of fact he's been laughed out back in the day but now it's way more column not only that. The success rate of the marriage because they're tracking this now in terms of divorce rates lower divorce rates. Among on line. Spouses that makes more common denominator perhaps they keep you look surprise that the number of questions. And India. Amounted to eight. It goes even looked at the half an hour days insert all your data selectively edited his army analysts amount to 100 questions that they ask an order try to match you up with people dipped. So the whip the uses statistics. Is that online dating es leading to. A better success rate in marriage. So audience here stance on securities it holds up. Mean it's really online dieters who Mary are less likely to breakdown and are associated with slightly higher. Marital satisfaction rates than those couples who met in bars and workplaces in court this according to a 2013. That. So if it's 2013. And I think I. My guess is online dating is accelerating. Not decelerating which I was Leo yeah it's it's very common now I mean like just about everyone I know who. You know isn't in their relationship is on line so in some try to Johnson yeah yeah. Of couples who got together online five point 9% broke up. Verses seven point 6% of those who met offline this according to that 2013 steady. Of the 191000. Couples who met on line and got married. Only around 7%. Were either separated or divorced the overall divorce rate in the United States is forty to 50%. The one caveat that'll give so the next time around right I mean we should poll in the one question I have is online dating has been around very long. So my in Indianapolis it's a relatively small stamp but it logically is just think about this logically doesn't make sense to know if you eat doesn't team. Know where you meet someone shouldn't have any determining factor as to like whether or not that relationship successful. And I've been out of that circuit power. Well dressed man appoint people who date on line that. They're never getting married. Like old ladies and it's just like that justice order it will notes is like he added it's just a sport or they just have no hope. You pick we have an interest in circle of friends jock yes well the food they use it gets that way sometimes pay our poll question today. Is did you meet you or spouse or significant other you're in the dating scene did you meet them on line. Now I met mine the old fashioned way at the end at the work doctorate. No no work today. Immediately I I tell people we checked to me and man that was. And I tell people we met at a country that people think all. That money that country will both worked at the country. We we we see her caddie we serve the members of that I don't know yet that we were not members of that country club. But I would like to know the answer that question did you meet your spouse or significant other. On line it you know there's a couple of people that date on. You know we're we're laughing about it like it's old like cinders tends to be. A lot of young people from India yes that's billion that's changed now apparently. Malia when he. If you are if if if you want to take a look at a poll fewer participated apple just go to our website financial exchange show. Dot com the horse race. For fed chair it's a war each against mentor and bring yellen back I didn't tie it. I had an and not this is just a plain hunch here playing hunched attacker get ready for the predict board. I I think yellen has a better shot at keeping her job. Then a lot at general election want keepers but I think she got a better shot than a lot of people are giving credit. I tend to agree on everything that we've heard is that you know prior to Donald Trump assuming our office in January. You know use very critical Janet Yellen but everything that you've heard since then. Is that the two of them actually get along relatively well they haven't talked since Everett. Well maybe that's what I get along well. That that could work you could work you know be the the thing that might lead some in this is that the point it makes me think he might keeper. One she's a Duff she likes low interest rates. The error competitor what church and what's a guy from us Powell Powell knows Stanford Taylor Taylor. They're more hawkish they're gonna raise rates faster than she would I think. Worse his odds have been selling off over the last week he was as high as about 40%. Now about a week ago he's down now to 12% in the new notion who does he like Powell. I'm not sure I don't I haven't heard talk about you know I mean we liked Powell and his dog nice I don't know that. I don't know how much influence he has over Donald Trump. The person I am quite certain has tremendous amount of influence over Donald Trump. Is develop a trump. And if vodka. Has pretty good relationship with Danielle yes yeah that's what makes me think she's got a shot right now she's in second place according to other markets out there financially Janet Yellen would be better off leaving we'll tell you why when we return from the financial exchange Reagan. Mike Armstrong is wit those for Wall Street watched couple big banks reporting earnings today Mike let's start with Goldman Sachs what's the news from them. Yes so beat notre expert substantially out of beat by 85 cents sharing of five dollars and two cents share that beat on revenue as well they came in with eight point 33 billion dollars in revenue. This doctor that she down pit stops down dollar twice that about half percent big news here is that trading revenues continued to. Be it just lackluster they're deadly better than they were last quarter but you know that's a big portion their business they're seeing some big growth on the investment banking and lending but they're not seeing any sort of grows not a practicing aggressive trading revenue which is. Continue to hit their bottom line. Morgan Stanley and they reported as well what's what's going all of them. So also beat beat by a twelve cents a share beat on revenue as well. Stock is up here for more accurately by about 2% big news there they have a lot more reliance and wealth management business in the so awesome good growth of the wealth management side of things those stock reacting positively to that. Up just over a dollar like that about to east 2% on the news. Very good Mike thank you for the time. That is Mike Armstrong with Wall Street watched Morgan Stanley susceptible to big correction. You know Goldman Sachs is just an investment bank. But Morgan Stanley dean make a lot of their money is like said on fees don't get it 2030% stock market correction it'll be that there could be hit him. The beat it up let's circle back to our conversation about Janet Yellen. Hey I don't know she's going to be asked a no inside information but I do believe that market has influence over her father. End. I wonder though. Whether Janet Yellen would just say you know what I've done my five years a matter here. She could make a heck of a lot more money and have a lot less stress just like going on the speaking circuit she could probably make on the assay. Conservatively. She can make three million bucks a year by going on the speaking circuit and writing a book. As a share it she may or not. Yeah I think she would but she might say I don't wanna make that speech she could say I just wanna make 1015 speeches a year you'd still make three million dollars to when that Wright has. Ben Bernanke right now. Goes for about 250 upon OK so if he just lowering the NL starters he dictator. And seen him in a little while now mean he's got to be in his ninety's now Rachel see him on television period is he is yet he's not a good one now. He's 91 years old man but you know Jennie O and I look at at her she is 71 years old right now right now do you need this crap for. And it's. You know she she might like do and it gathered there are some people flee it like I. I know you laugh at but there's some people who is 71 like to do that stuff I know like again but I just you know Warren Buffett's 86 he still going to work every day and emulate their there's some people who just like the grind. Bernanke on the other hand. Younger Bernanke's only 63 now know OK so you know. Jenny alone might just say. I don't wanna do anything like that it that's a legitimate possibility as well I mean she might say look I'm 71 I don't want to but. We know there are plenty of people who worked into their seventies and eighties Damascus. Yeah they enjoy like Tony or even until he get to step down and everything. Whats is name the Fisher a Fisher 75 I mean so let's give some of these people like to work. Gobble up some academics. What did you guys watch sixty minutes on Sunday night after the game I did not do pretty good they you did us a segment. On the OP Walid crisis and the they they pointed out that this fellow Tom Marino. Who's a congressman from Pennsylvania. Basically neutered the DEA. In their attempt to go after the drug makers does that with that CBS documentary. Pointed out was that. The drug companies are behind largely behind the drug crisis GOP it crisis and literally had like 200000 people died young people died from. Yeah pretty much Marino if if you're not familiar with the sixty minutes report there was a bill called the ensuring patient access and effective drug enforcement act. That he'll change to allowing the DEA to go after. Imminent threats to just immediate threats and so pretty much what that did is it. Really you gave the DEA little leeway. To go after drug companies that did it report large orders for narcotics and so because of that they weren't able to go after and and prosecute people in some of these cases. And so as a result. There was a whistle war. As a result he has withdrawn his name for consideration. As the the drug czar here and so he is not no longer in contention by the arm again and call it that I think I would imagine that someone from mother White House perhaps Donald Trump himself said. You have to withdraw and if you don't I'm withdrawing his nomination. To be even warm air right. They don't forget the leader bank is the only bank in all of New England we can walk into a branch imagine us. You lock in to a branch with cold hard cash in he can walk out with gold coin do you trade paper. Think about that he'd trade hundred dollar bills for gold points leader bank is the only bank in all of knowing that we can do that arrangement you walk into a branch and by your gold points right there it's leader bank dot com if you wanna learn more about their gold buying program. And you can call them toll free 8776917. B 900 for those of you who don't live. In the Boston area they have a convenient program for people who are out of the region whether you're out of state were just not living in the it in the Boston area. Where you can open an account you saved soda at the open an account leader bank you put under 200000 dollars in the count. Airbus takes a major stake in bombardier C series jet business is a big story that broke the story. Yet this this is Qaeda and lastly what's what's going on here so. But party a if you're not familiar with them they are trying to make what they're calling their cease the cease Ceres. Of jets which would compete with the Airbus A 320 as well as the Boeing 730 sevens it would say. Can a mid sized plane primarily for you know short distance and intermediate distance routes. And about what was it two maybe three weeks ago the United States said they were gonna slap a 300% tariff on these plane that was Wilbur Ross. Because they said that they were receiving illegal subsidies from the Canadian golf which they work that it whether they're legal or not is there's not a subsidies no okay the question you know every every manufacturer seems some kind of subsidy you look at what Boeing gets in the US they get all kinds tax breaks in this in the not. Funneling money there but they're not personal attacks. So what happened here is Airbus decided they're not taking a stake in bombarding the entire company and what they are doing is they've taken a fifty point 0450. Point 01% stake controlling interest in the C Ceres yet. Okay. And what they are doing is they're going to move they're saying quote manufacturing. To Alabama. But what's interesting here is most of the parts are still gonna be sourced internationally from Canada as well as from Europe okay. And so that pretty much can be putting the plane together in Alabama but actually doing a lot of the plane that the parts manufacturer out of the country so they're trying to do an end run around here. And would follow Obama and AG the feared doing that how many American jobs or create it's unclear at this point. Is there there there really just putting the played together. Still it's like I what I like about what this is what we're always critical about with auto makers right so for going to be critical about it with auto makers we have to be critical about it with plane manufacturers as well it's not really made in the USA if you're buying all the parts elsewhere in just putting them together here. They didn't check. With Wilbur Ross is people see this would satisfy the terror issue the other thing that I found interest in here. There was no money exchanged in this deal. So why is well bombardier stock is way up you look at their stock so that the reason why this project is so one profitable for the right now that Airbus's litter is saying look we're we don't wanna give you any money for this were hoping we can turn a profit somehow or or they're saying hey we wanna do this justice detectable. They really like let's be honest that those are two companies that you can go you could but I mean remember relate you don't. This this is a very unprofitable project is behind schedule these as massive cost overruns. And they're not finding orders for these planes either so that's a delta one at 75. That's nothing in the in the broadly things you know you talk about. The number of 730 sevens that are made each year they are making me take a look here they did. Yet they're going to delve Sanaa delta Boeing a 2019 is going to be making 57730. Sevens among them to seventy high and I haven't. 57 a month can be about 62019. They're making 47 and those that see that's global sales at Seoul's world yet but so and everybody wants at this that's a thing Boeing is still. The cats began Allen in terms of jets. Boeing Boeing and Airbus are both gimmick they're they're the two titans out there you seemed pretty good competition in terms of overall sales and so forth. Boeing right now just to put this in perspective. Boeing has a backlog of 440730. Seven's right now and okay. Where is if you take a look at the C Ceres of jets the okay if this is the bombarding agent that we're talking about right now. Pulling up the orders they get 360. Emphasis much smaller company. But like it again this is. Like when you talk about why the the project is kind of in this in this shape right now we're being literally handed over for no money. There's no borders. Is it Lou the it'll be an inching story to fall. They think it will be it will be a mean it would be good to have more competition in this space I always like to have you know additional competition if you can get it but no one's buying these. Planes remember last week we talked about Allergan and there is little gain their plane with the Indian reservation yes they were. They are licensing a drug folks if you missed the story last week they were licensing a drug called versed basis which is for guys. And they licensed through an Indian reservation in an effort to extend patent by defining purpose. Yep they they pretty much said they were gonna sell this patent to a company based on an Indian reservation. And then we are going to lease the patent back from the company because in theory the reservation is sovereign territory and shouldn't be subject to US patent house. Judge said net and then and then you can't do is you can't do this doesn't work like that and pretty because you can imagine a situation of this have been approved. Every drug company America is gonna say hey we get we gotta go find a reservation like we got to go open up an office they get that's exactly what would happen. Leave it to the lawyers and actively take coming up will be joined by Tracy rainy from Zacks. Everybody it's very are strong and I'm joined today by estate planning attorney Todd lot ski from the law firm of Cushing and dole and I were talking about drafting tips. For York Medicaid income trusts. Todd you know I keep reading. Almost on a weekly basis about stories worst states are challenging. Durable global trusts and Medicaid applications what's up with the increased scrutiny on the east trusts. Yeah the problem is that you know many more and more people maybe are trying to draft him more more lawyers are trying to get into the field that that may be our race. That's the safest way to say it and and they're putting paragraphs in that that just caused problems if you if you wanna put it in English because a crack in the ice yup and allows them to reaching an in you know grab those assets from the trust and it's that that paragraph that causes the problem and so they're starting to realize that rather just put states are true yeah yeah. States are saying you know we're gonna we're gonna take a closer look at every one of these trusts and see if there's a way that we can find a crack and that it's well makes sense now. Whipped eight would have been. What's the result if you lose if you go to a fair hearing you lose what happens while if you were to lose that the assets basically the assets in the trust that you might have told your clients are going to be protected from the nursing home. Are no longer protected they would be considered accountable that's. And exposed to the cost of nursing home care so it's a big deal it is a big if you lose it's all about drafting Mary it's all about making sure war. You put the right paragraphs in the trust. Folks if you have a Medicaid income trust you may wanna have it reviewed to make sure that your assets are in fact protected. He can reach out Cushing handled by calling them at 8668485699. Tracy our area. We're we're doing well also Domino's. Has been on a heck of Iran ever since. CEO backe and I think it was twenty tender 2011. The stock is gone for about twelve dollars a share up to 194. So you know phenomenal performance over that time. But it seems like David have no trouble getting gear the last couple quarters what are your thoughts on the. I think you know as you said investors have a lot to. Built into the company and they're expecting. High expectations. Out of what's gonna happen with the same store sales. And the last couple of quarters have been a little bit. Weaker than what we saw last year but last year was just incredible numbers don't let the restaurant chain was doing what dominoes is doing last year. Think their domestic same store sales were up 13%. For the same quarter and then this quarter they did eight point four which is still the highest in the atmosphere industry. And yet everybody's expecting them to still do this 13%. When they've been around since the 1960. Don't even have this kind of wrote at this stage of a company is a meeting. A lot of it has to do with that out that they created a couple of years ago yeah its first restaurant chain of really come out with a ordering app. People love it millennial or rather about the time and then it expanded that where you can even order on Twitter now using him OG. And they've really upped their game on their side Tokyo. I don't know if you guys been tested any of democratic recently diet they. Not impede the products that are really did. Like there bred by these and their new bred to it and those are big sellers I think really driving the business as well. Tracy I I if to stop you there I'm I'm sorry that the I I I spent a lot of time in New York I have a local pizzeria place. I I would not be Domino's Pizza to my dog I would go hungry and I don't miss many new straits before it Domino's Pizza. I I don't like anything on there may who the heck is eating us. Have you tried to pony and a I want that can a couple of years ago it's tricky to actually. I had traumatic experience a week a year it last August I ordered Domino's for our family use salads in pizza is your place who deliver. And I was horrified I was absent horrified. I'm sorry I I I and I it I don't mean this is a knock on new Tracy I just I like it MI that much of a snob that you really think their food is good. You might be yes it. About ego like now everybody has access that same good mom and pop peace to read this. That's why the big war. Brand name across the United States only have about 25% of the market. That the like people I didn't little Caesars Domino's and Papa doc and so there is a lot of people are going to them mom and pops. By if you don't have easy access to the mom and pop Warner. There's no good way to order it or get it quickly and we're cabinet and it comes and it is unknown entity everybody knows the dominoes brand. Tracy mentioned that they made in the development of the happen now growth onto Twitter and so forth has helped to make it easier for people to buy pizza from them. What's next what do they do to continue innovating continue to grow sales. Well clearly the delivery side is scared and you know they have to up their product choices because. Millennium in particular and even generation sees that coming up next the lake that healthier foods. So I think it would seem more of a push towards pet because nobody really says most of keep this very healthy. And certainly not a lot of decides that they fit there real healthy though that's why they have the addition of the talented and you're gonna see more of that and then there are going to be pushing more into international diet because I believe there that they aren't in every country. They just recently opened this store and Slovakia and their first one of IKEA so there's a lot of growth still overseas. I do you think is the huge market for the. Very good Tracy thank you very much for the time today. It that is Tracy react with sacks in the ticker on Domino's is DP EZ. Tuck the have to remember that as a poll question for more. Would you rather be Domino's eagle on. This is from the person whose favorite restaurant is McDonald's guys all. Day trip I know all defend McDonald's to the debt as always the best burger it's the best prize if you had their starter in the option. That's not a mile below what what. Have you had a McDonald's strawberry milk it's not a meal supersize. Not a male. That's like Nazis about five Neil that's like asking you what to longhorn steakhouse and got this ramp. I'm a dairy queens blizzard there chuck. Yes a great meal I ever had dairy queens hot dog. It's phenomenal. They. Other. I I I am being told by a number of people that I am stopped snobs and include reference they see. But 781. Says I agree domino is the worst I'll never step foot in their stores ever again. Various so right about Domino's bare your I think everybody agrees that domino sucks well it does suck but it's cheap and they deliver when you're broke college kid who's had a couple Beers and it's 3 AM and nothing else is open how many broke college kids aren't here and a lot of their broke out of how painful this pizza to be delivered at 2 in the morning and couch change panhandle and approach change and a pain on quarter in the couch and go. So if anyone says I'll go hungry before the honesty that is definitely our poll question for tomorrow. Talk about food is made me a little hungry actually enhance its Domino's yeah then and now this out. Dow is up 21 point Thomas has sells crude and it's terrible salad I had the south everything at Domino's is terrible goal where is it. It just. Awful food. Light but anyway I'll call my life. And don't know if you're swirls the story can end in on a Taylor I in in deference to your concerns as to the validity. My having pot squirrel I will always it and you know common way and I will tell you the story I cut the score I know it. I'll tell you this story as to how cot the squirrel in my African truck at new your new homeowner new concerns about squirrels in your attic. Electing a might have won. He should be concerned about this time of the year you're Tucker slapping. That I didn't realize idols score I didn't ask girls tonight remind our ceiling merit there and just society and their their their societies are very dirty animals are now you'll. And only one other. Animal that's dirty year and carries more disease in this world noted Grafton now. Are we got bouts. That's a bad to know bats are great danger and all the bugs. Out and would he think they have in the NAFTA eat the enough is like to see the of disease vehicle when those kind of badly due to human mr. researcher here do some researchers to the number of diseases carried by its estimate that attacked a human. You've been attacked at an annual yeah that's why we don't do it. I got hit by fox I'd get rabies shots and yet attacked by a bat when spring insulation and I've had a rough life. Wait people say easily. You know why you axle. And leave you that my dad finally join you that I have on me look old and it attracted to the last time I heard of a bad attacking human in the US like I know you get the crowd when -- South America is in camp is Canadian. All the oil problem much bigger tougher American that. Scale that is known EU's wearing helmet he hockey stick. Koch with the stated. Anyway I'll tell you my squirrels story. I tell you in my school story a little bit does includes the animal control our of the financial exchange you don't like my whole point here. Faces in trying to teach you when you with something. You do not want squirrels in your house they are riddled with disease. We'll be paying rent it they are not paying rent well you know they do they leave not. In your rack. Big deal yet equalizer. And eaten ones at least orders did that senior at him it's not mountain anyway I'll tell you the squirrel story. On our that there wasn't. I I got a heck of a share of the details. Let's have a CBS CBS. There's a warning put against CBS by Credit Suisse. And as I understand chuck this all circles back to the NFL. Yet Credit Suisse coming out and saying that they are expecting third quarter network advertising revenue declined by 3% both because of a crappy suite of you know summer entertainment that they put out for July and August but also the week started the NFL season and so much. Are we down CDS and the disease and I know you guys are gonna say it like we tumbled amber and then in November you'll say you are an actor to wait till December and cardiac we're getting close to lake having accurate data now I have you Tucker you seen any ratings for the last weekend I saw on Sunday Night Football that did pretty well it was a temp point nine. Let me take a look okay the Monday in a game was terrible mostly because it was terrible game via. They who's gonna tune into watch colts titans and putted just do you really the first half well let's say it yet yeah I mean that's awful game you don't like. We take I'm trying to pull up ratings for a down 17% at least that the report from our Credit Suisse was referencing. Is just CBS Sunday afternoon games to seventeen so overall through week five the data that I have this according to Nielsen is all games is off 7% compared to 2016 which is down as well this is because 716. Is down 10% and directs a compared to 2015 right now it's down 18% so. They think about that this is kind of mindful. If somebody told me two years ago the NFL numbers will be off by 20%. Within two years thank you ever want to look at you like yet twelve cents. But that's where we are today right now. Well now out of other things the have a few times the average game is being watched by about fifteen point one million viewers okay. Back in 2015 it was eighteen point form. And that's what's hurting CBS because. Now they sold packages promising eighteen million viewers. And they early delivering fifteen million so they have to lower their prices. And where it's hurting them it's even hurting the more chock. Is during the week as they can't promote their shelves right they did big thing for NFL in recent pale that money can the NFL is to promote your crappy show that airs at. So it's so sad like that's what amazes me the most is like you sit through it game on CBS knew watching and it's like. Tune in on Thursday for and CIS Los Angeles and then Wednesday for and CIS what do they studied it they say it's everybody's had a lobotomy these shows are terrible. Shock it's TVs no more drama. Yeah that's what they always say the steps of the but don't get me started on TV's number one drama now well my my point is. People are finding different things to do. On the weekends as opposed to watching football it's just that this shows they have are so bad idea NFL ratings are off 20%. Over the last two years I'd love to see what the ratings are Monday through Friday on these weeknight shows that the turn stuff down their throats. Because in the old days you guys you just ten years ago. When your high school. You would go in you'd talk about the shows you watch the night before write or edit the whole thing like it was ABC had like there's Thursday night line running who was the one that TG IF talker was that ABC ABC is well. Like they have like these scheduled nights total and what were some of the shows you guys watched and talked about when you're either in college or high school. You remember. And I mean the big network show was probably it's a long as modern family. We were dumb or students that was that was after I never does ABC. But that was that was later that was right ice has recent opponents as those on my college has caused. Frantically back in high school like 24 was big back then did Jack Bauer kill terrorists and everything like that. What else was big entrance Everybody Loves Raymond I watch that night school I still watch that fall asleep just is no show puts you to sleep better than everybody loves Ray Allen could you name any show that Ayers now. Monday through Friday and CIA has something about big banks that are. That that's probably the best or achieve the highest rated show on Mexican restaurant. Tonight I couldn't tell you anything else that is on thing Grey's Anatomy my wife watched a twenty years ago used to be something you'd say okay honey Wednesday. And then you don't really killed all twos that Tivo we can record watching and anytime you want it and the factors have unity. They gets that is the reason why network TV news so is late. He's in danger today is because the contents knocked it it's the same thing as you know the cab drivers who didn't put a good product deadening got upset when overcame an eight their launch. Like hello. I give it a pretty good product out there eventually someone's gonna go over an end around and you're gonna get left behind we make of this story where New Jersey is trying to who were. Amazon to Newark he has ever been in Newark you're just here for you ever been any spent an equal to yes it ever any quality time in downtown Newark and that the airport was downtown Newark downtown Newark is he says a rough town right it is a cesspool. It is. It's off I went thanks I would for job interviews there must have been twenty years ago in the company was headquartered in. Downtown Newark. I was horrified is absolutely horrified. You know I like the jerseys trying to do something then I don't think Amazon's gonna pick new work. It's got the airport got the talent that terrible airport there. Don't know eight Newark sexy it's one of my least favorite place to be I have access to all three yet JFK raked area LaGuardia and what's not right there you gotta go through two different bridges or tunnels in order to get to JFK and your new Yorker if your new Yorker. If you live in Westchester county economic that it's not a big deal my dad used to drive from Westchester County in new work every day you know. It just party what you do in New York in in terms of state taxes Jersey's pretty high rate income taxes and things like that so I've you know I don't know and and yet the got to remember Jersey's not a state it's in good financial shape theaters so if bombing it was announced in okay need to pick a horse in order to kind of BSE weren't going to be for the next 2030 years you know taken over. I don't know if I pick Newark discuss I I agree I concerns about Jersey's financial stability for the will see a young kid Bill Young computer science major. He hits it long into a work in new York and live in Manhattan. Just in reverse commute. Yeah you can do that anywhere yet glee is because I mean her past are yet to pass right now yeah there's eight people do it all the time they ever do and now. My idea my son's girlfriend worked for Goldman Sachs and it's on the sides and it's in danger together in that building right down the crossed over to Pia. The financial exchanges lied on FaceBook and YouTube watch Berrian chug discuss the issues of the day and see which one smiles the most. Is who's the financial exchange radio network. The hidden battle of the sexes at work this is an article that was written last week's Wall Street Journal that NASA fuhrman's from the journal joins us now. To talk about the issue I Vanessa welcome to show. So is gender diversity still a problem in the workplace today. Yeah I think I think it is I mean if you look at the numbers that just came out of this massive lean and and McKinsey study. I think it is probably the largest ever survey. Study done. Employees. And companies where they work. And really shows like as big disparity not only in. The managerial pipeline every step of the way toward. Towards. He's sweet but also in the way that men and women think about diversity. Power could. What did it what's the financial impact because this is what I found most instinct on that study that you referenced. What's the financial impact of having a more diverse group of decision makers. Throughout your company in other words middle management upper management you mention the sea suite. We if you if you have a diversified. Workforce how does that impact earnings in profitability. Well there's there's certainly a growing body of evidence that suggests that having more and as he's had a more diverse. The group does. Business leaders actually. How to feed the bottom line. There have been studies done wonders and McKinsey study in the last two couple of years that said that companies that did have. More diverse management and board members. Actually outperformed. Companies with fewer. Them. More diverse board members. And management. That goes for both ethnic diversity and gender diversity. And I think that's why you're seeing a lot of companies and he did. Question this time it's not just lip service that interest from companies that certainly is more public relations bad. A lot of companies are. Anxious about this anxious about moving the needle on those because they they keep heed the business case. And that's because they hear eve is this the study said that they're making better decisions consumer related decisions you grit that. Right said that the ideas that if you have a more diverse group of decision leaders you're Marv. You better reflecting the market in trying to Serbs to their countless examples of companies that came up with product because they had people. The two room well basically important in with the market that they were thinking about. When women are surveyed do they believe that they are being passed over for opportunities based on their sex. A lot of them ya I ended that was one of the more startling. Statistics in this particular study and in particular how much that was different from the when the weight men felt. And it isn't it and some 37% of women. That invade their gender have played a role in losing a promotion or another chance to get ahead when you'd have to mend that only 8% fat. And what about Blackstone Blackstone is a huge hedge fund what are they doing because they recognize this. If they're actually one of the better hedge funds. It in the universe of headphones. What are they doing to create and recruit more women. Well thickening and number of things but you know where they've a real issue is right at the beginning of our pipeline. That they couldn't even you know that they want to expand everybody wants to expand the number of management. Women in management to do that you have to have a pool. Women that your company has cultivated and before you talk about pool of women to culture that you have to actually recruit them and they thought that they were. Only getting something like 1015. Press hand that applicant pool or women come at the very beginning so they realize that we need does not just. Go ask her women start recruiting them that they're coming out of college and going into internships but even before that when they're sophomores and tell them about. The finance amnesty tell them about blacks and helped. Give them and provide them as skilled but art or teach them go and you job interviewing and and never read the main building is not that women can't do that on their own but it is certainly offered to support system. What about diversity training you know back in the ninety's that was a big thing at least in the company that I write for the easy. Hey you know lead to go to diversity training and nay I I thought it was a big pain in the by. Yeah well I and diversity training is evolving. And when you look at past studies research. It says. That it happened hasn't worked that he knows managers see that this is as you said opinion about as an obligation you have to check it off. And you kind of being preached to two hot topic you know here's what you're doing wrong here's what you need do. Better I think it. That is an evolving I think what you're doing now is more of a focus on by his training her more people are learning here are unconscious biases. By people and it's and I it has been from landing and it's a bit more inclusive of everybody. And probably all haven't unconscious bias he's you do I do. At this time it's the type that bring more people into the fold and all the will be more eye opening about things he just didn't realize about the way you think about things okay. I think it may be in the next few years we might have a different view on that the jury is still out. But Vanessa Lee egg I you know it will tend to look at her own personal situation but my wife. You know we had our first child in 1987 and she didn't come back to work I think it was until 2006 of shoes out of the workforce for nineteen years. Raising our kids. Like that's got to have an influence over how a woman's ability to climb up the corporate ladder in nineteen year gap in terms of professional experience. Right at and that's that's certainly a big part of that we police still are. Do you have today. You know Warrick played the pattern designed around Atlanta evident once side sitcom dad designed around. Quite complete the person who doesn't take time out for work doesn't have all of those familial obligations. And it and then many people argue endlessly really start tackling this structural things not just. The attitudes and perceptions in the workplace but as instructional things. Political change. If women in particular. Pretty much any ambitious with our high ranking woman in a different technique is. Going to have that they have the ballot they have had about who has equal plea and equally demanding career. What we probably are realized that don't really quite realized how pervasive it hasn't released these numbers it is that men. On the other hand if it didn't mean most of them. Actually Pakistan and reach that level. That the companies paid more than likely have been staying at home to the palace or part time out to pin. And it kept some of that black and outside of pork that's that's not the case for women and I'm in most instances. He made and the that they're doing doubled since potentially. They get so they suffer accordingly and Vanessa thank you very much for your timing your efforts appreciate it. Having Vanessa fuhrman's Wall Street Journal talking to us about. Gender equality in corporate America but there's some professions you know you look at education dominated by women. You look at health care right in nursing in particular dominate that was very few male over nurses. Again the senate I think it's like 20% male nurses and Lex is a less than not looking up on the break with day you'll see that you know percentage of nurses that are men. I'm gonna say Al predict a make a prediction here under 5% of nurses her then you can tell us the answer when we come back also tell you. How liked captured that pesky squirrels last night. This is the financial exchange radio network. Chances are your office utilizes. Wi-Fi yet Wi-Fi it almost likely I didn't and when you go to or restaurant that he frequently ask for the Wi-Fi password. Elderly. Turns out this stuff is not protected. Yet this is something that was recently discovered and what it is it's a critical flaw in what is called the WPA. Two. Security political and so that's one of there's a couple different protocols out there that you can use to secure network WEP is one of them WPA too is the biggest one that tends to be. Until this kind of thought of as the more secure one and pretty much there's a vulnerability in here. That would allow hackers if they were able to get onto your network and if they were close that they could in theory bypass some of the security kind of slip in as a middleman. And I'm scary negate it's great for those of us who may not be. Up on all that language were discussing is this mean like when I'm checking my bank account somebody could be looking at so. To him on his wife Kyra on this they have to be close by first ball so if your home necks you know it's it's it's unlikely that someone is doing this simply is here in an apartment building which if you're an apartment building yes but it if you're in a single family home in it's very unlikely that this is any any threat. At the moment okay. Having said that this is probably in the past I would imagine within the next couple days okay it's a relatively easy as just a is a short term problem yep pretty much what they'll do is they'll patch what's called the firmware which is just some of the the background software that's running on these routers and as long as you get that software patch which most of it should happen automatically any any. Decent company should be patching their routers pretty much as we speak but it should be a non issue within the next week or two if the appropriate steps are taken by companies and if they're not. This could continue to be a threat here the biggest devices that are threatened tend to be running android. Not IOS so near ticked up for what it's worth but that's what you're seeing. Why is General Motors stock up 50%. Over the last year a good question and the thing about GM you know our government motors. Well one thing outside of the pay three and a half percent dividend even at 45 dollars a share. But there's also rumors afoot. That they have leading technology as a relates to drive those cars and I'll share story with did you say you were you missed this last week. I talked to thought he'd had a Cadillac they EU he drove one of the new GM cadillacs yup. 140 miles he drove it always going to be on tomorrow is he does the self driver and it never touched the driving. Hundred he's driving like it was it's did you read that whole story as fast and yeah he'll be on this time tomorrow okay that. It's it's the suit GM's got vapid and now they're they're testing a fleet of self driving cars in New York City. Getting restart testing these vehicles they've been testing about a hundred self driving should be bolts in various markets recently into the mix. They're going to las start testing these in New York now. In a five square mile section of lower Manhattan so it is going to be somewhat of a controlled or not to be going get anywhere in the city at this point. But book already had a busy place knows that the fact that they feel coffin enough to roll these out and start testing them in this location. Suggest that their feel comfortable that they at least have the basics figured out you know stop go you know understanding stop signs and things like that. And so you know certainly it lends some credence to thought they might be ahead of some of the other major manufacturers at this point. Well I was trying to figure out why their stock was round I've owned their stock for awhile and I bought it they think about it 2930 bucks this year years ago. And I just like Mary Barr I've told you that before. And then all of a sudden pops to 45 bucks a share. Yeah I mean most pop as happened in the last in lust is sixty days. Yeah I mean it certainly you know that there's definitely part of this that probably has to do. They've got the crews automation. And then they just bought another companies couple weeks yeah there's probably some there has to do with self driving vehicles I think you don't think that's all the whole story you think there's more. I think in general you know you look at how they're sales have been doing in the US they've been improvement compared to some of their peers okay got rid of a lot of other divisions are losing money never they did that whole Opel playing in Europe the they've cleaned things up an awful lot. But you know it certainly could be that this this self driving platform is something that China has people excited right now. I think it's awhile before this becomes major profit to. You know it is though you eat the if they have it especially it's they're Smart to roll it out and caddie. Because caddie is a car. That people pay for unity and what you always see these things come through YouTube and people wouldn't bat an died drop in 67 to grant her caddie. Right you know you're not gonna see this on the you know wouldn't be on an entry level models because the causes note it's expensive to produce the moment and be curious to see if they put on them all in the bowl any. The the more vehicles you putter and you drive the cost. Right in his view have at first. Doesn't that make it make it appealing reason to go by shabby if all of a sudden you can buy this week can't get in and Toyota and can't get in and forward though you say. I want it. In the year but again this is it's early on this is going to be on a very small minority of vehicles initial. This that the one you're talking about this self driving well learn more tomorrow when we have that interview you say that that's a year wanna tune into. This time tomorrow will be talking to somebody who actually drove one of these cadillacs. For I think it was a 140 miles didn't touch the week. Didn't didn't have to be involved they would start in slow down and you know navigated turns and and the whole bit past vehicle just as him really quite an hour.
