Half right I am so excited to introduce. Our next guest is just that's going a hundred miles of me and Rory this is Brad Bradley. And he is starring Kennedy's Camelot show that is up with a Norse were music theater. And you play the great role patsy yes we just terrific I think at Dave our producers said earlier in the show. And they too that you were going to be here in the early people started texting it's my favorite show it's on my fear chose. And I told you the break I thought years ago I don't you have a history with the show ideas starting from. When it debuted down in on Broadway. In New York. Yes I was the broader company for a three and a half years in we did not town tryout in Chicago and just being part of a creative process and Eric Idle was there every day restricted by. I'm Mike Nichols a great epic case Nikola whose careers taken off. On since Camelot and it was. An amazing company we had Tim Curry as king Arthur and David Hyde Pierce and yank his area to than making their Broadway debuts take is area came into rehearsal. Off book as he was such a Monty Python fan. Get all the voices down I mean he was. It was such an exciting. Process and then we opened and won best musical and I was the original patsy cover and I coveted playing that role. And then I got says I went on a lot on Broadway and then I got today take over on the first national tour played Boston played the clown of Peter and it's just. It was always a dream roles are saying when now and at places like north from music Peter calls up and like he would you like they patsy and like I got my coconut treading. But I know I can I. And a lot of her husband dad have coconut who travels you know this. Show he be that Barbara saying it's funny because somebody men when it comes to the show and bring their girlfriends and it's the truth how often can you say that about a musical. That men stand in line because they wanna see it because. It's really it's not kids show no it stop you know it's not for kids but that's okay because everybody's very clear about that yes but he can bring kids. It is that day EU people know their own kids if they can handle it because it's their moments that it's a little off color does but it's fun yes. Oh it's so much fun and mean and it is some of the humor is really intelligent and in some of it is really bathroom humor said he goes back and forth yep political jokes. And yet you have I mean parred in your general direction joke yes so they created spans everything but and it also it's also. A tribute to broadway's saint Valentine to musicals so it also has had an incredible score but even though it is. A musical it's still. Is the musical written by money by doctor so everything is tiny tongue in cheek everything's kind of making fun of something else but not in cruel way like some of that. Spooks are today it's more that about time. Way around it you mean it's it's not mocking it where it's making fun as much as it's paying tribute right just in very high camp as an. That's up at a. And I get this treasure all the time. But the north your music theater is unique because of the round. So you've played this show winner in Worcester for example you have just the stated. Is it better or worse different to what does it play out because you gotta go 360. I think what I've found that the doctor Leo I did Mary Poppins at Northrop music theater and at first it's a little frightening but then you realize it's very freeing because you are having in 360. My only problem with Camelot is a personal thing. I had a huge backpack on the show if you member that's another huge backpack so there's times that I'm like I am blocking. Half half the audience so I mean I'll is finally some of rotating like I'm a little top. But actually I actually like that her and it makes me much more aware of the audience. My sat in on ants yesterday during one number and realize there's a little kid behind me so I sat on the floor and it. It just makes you realize audiences there and it's fun. Ted run in the audience and hide behind them during the killer had seen and dynamite on hitting your in my backpack so it's just so for me I'm like oh I've actually three times the size as I am so I have to. Remember if my back to someone and I'm standing in front of the king. No one's gonna see the king size is is that type of adjustment. But there's not a bad seat in the house and I don't know it's it's definitely worth it and I good experience for. Tonight sister coconuts figuratively of course of course if I saw that Mary Poppins sure to Norstrom music music it. There was one of the best theatre shows I'd ever seen it was unbelievably good. But are on bullet I don't know how you did multiple shows on a day because after that day one show I would think you're done like that's your energy. It was definitely my energy but I. Would have to get like ten hours sleep and I take nap in between shows because it was exhausting all. But it lives are loved the army knew you had a major raw had a major rule but that was I think talking about the show in the round is you write your daughter to the show. Is that I've never I've done a show I played like a famous character. Where the kids thought I was actually Bert still in the body and they would shake my hand and they'd say shave my head for good luck and I was like. That alone made me so so excited. About the kids feeling that they met bird they're seeing Peter for the first time absolutely and so that's what's was so thrilling about that. I think that's Pamela you're seeing people that are going to feed for the first time. Because it's Monty Python so to hold it right yeah right now you're seeing older men going to theater for the first time with Camelot where he had young kids go in the first time. For North Shore and you walk up and down I'll also you you get to see the audience right you know a normal show you have a proceed him. There are these distant people here there are they giving you high fives in. You get to see the wonderful they have wonderful. Handicapped and disabled people in the back that because there's room that they can actually invite them to the right either you get to see them as you're making constant changes. So it's it's a very encompassing experience. For the audience as well as the actors so I've I've enjoyed that. Then tax you know they brought the Coke I did OK so. It's gonna. That's had time. That. Day it did it. It's a great source tells everybody how they can goal wacko you know what's the story how many times a day we'll we'll have one more week which is so sad and I can't believe that I'm gonna have the leave New England have to make sure I you look at some follow leaves for ago we close this.
